Summer time is here again and it would not be perfect summer for Sagunto UK if we do not do are usual seaside day trips. So dear members and friends here are the dates you must circle in your diary , for you not to miss out this fabulous occassion.
Saturday July 12, 2008 - Littlehampton, Sussex
- A Coastal Gem Sheltered by the South Downs, at the mouth of the River Arun. For family fun and fantastic weather, Littlehampton is hard to beat.
A European Blue Flag winning beach, harbour and stunning riverside development make Littlehampton a seaside town with space, style and lots of sunshine.
Littlehampton have two contrasting beaches to offer to all of us. The East Beach is traditional sand and shingles and perfect for families.
On the seafront is a Harbour Park amusement centre- an all- weather adventure village offering family fun for all ages. A seafront Promenade Train runs between Coastguards Tower and Norfolk Gardens. There is a summer Entertainment on the promenade including Punch and Judy, live music and magic shows. Littlehampton Miniature Railways runs between Mewsbrook Park and Norfolk Gardens.
And if you want to explore more you can travel by water with Kingfisher Cruises who offer harbour cruises and leisurely River Trips to Arundel. However if this is not your style you can always indulge yourself to Mewsbrook Park, just off Littlehampton seafront has the Green Flag Award. The national standard for parks and open spaces is given to only the best parks in England. Mewsbrook Park received its award in 2005 and retained the award in 2006 in recognition of its safe, clean environment and high level of garden maintenance.

Swim in the sea - visitors to Brighton beach can now take another comfort from the famous pebbly shores. Recently awarded Blue Flag status in recognitionof its cleanliness and water quality, taking the plunge has never been cleaner.
Away from the water there are plenty of activities - enjoy a day at Brighton Races or try out a great, simple to use audio walking tour from Cool City Walks or Tourist Tracks.
The rolling South Downs are great for walking or cycling, and all year round there are hundreds of events from the famous London to Brighton Veteran Car Run to power boat racing and kite festivals.
Take the tour of the Royal Pavilion, the stunning seaside palace of the Prince Regent (George V), transformed by John Nash into one of the most dazzling and exotic buildings in the British Isles, is a must see.
