Sagunto UK Association :: Igorot Uk's The Grand Gathering

The Sagunto UK Association were invited by the Igorot UK Association to join them in their celebration during their Grand gathering. These two days convention was held at St Barnabas Church @ Walthamstow on November 17 and 18 respectively.

According to the Igorot UK Association, the purpose of this gathering is to rekindle friendship and acquiantances, and to celebrate our roots by coming together as one family through sports,cultural dances and songs.

There were lots of cultural presentations came from different organization. It's like battles of gongs presented by Besao-Sagada Group,Bontoc Group,Benguet Group and other organizations.See video below .

We were very very proud to sing the Sagunto Star (Saguntonian Tibal Song) composed by our fellow Saguntonians Mr Elmer Biteng . After our chorus,Mrs Liza Olivares and Mr Henry Palit-ang performed the dance called tadek as requested by the Igorot UK. Unexpectedly, our adviser and founder of the Sagunto UK Association Mr Coumbus Cefra Sr take the dance floor with the Igorots .See Photos and videos below.

Well done once again! thank you for taking the time and effort posting our pics and video. great video and lovely pics. Kumakanta, tayo met gayam, uray no namnaminsan tayo laeng a nag practice iti daytoy very popular a song ni Mng ElmerB. Thank you Mng Elmer for allowing us to sing your very enchanting song.

And thank you Roselee, for teaching us this wonderful song. Next time folk dance ton ti isurom kaniame, but wait until i give birth ta sumali-ak uray no dua ti left feet ko a kunanada. i'm sure you can teach me how to dance Right? :)

I'm very very proud to Marifaye nga nag-lead diay kanta tayo. To tell you the truth diay first part ti kanta laeng ti prinaktice na, nagrigat na pay nga i pronounce dagidiay words na at first ngem idi Saturday morning pinakantak kania na, ket na perfect na metten piman. The rest of the song saan na nga pulos nga prinaktice, deng-genggen dak laeng nga aglalaaw nga mangkankanta ditoy balay. Uray da la mangikabil ti kapas diay lapayag dan nga agama no kankantaek.ha!ha!ha!
